Topic Situational and Vulnerability Awareness (SVA) training promotes a culture or mindset of security that one aspires to maintain throughout daily activities.  The objective is to raise awareness of potential threats in any environment, with respect to any set of circumstances.

Speaker FBI Special Agent Frederick J. Simon

Special Agent Frederick J. Simon has been with the FBI for over 20 years.  During this time, he has served on several different squads, where he worked on Espionage, International and Domestic Terrorism, and a variety of violent crimes. SA Simon has also served as an Interrogator at Guantanamo Bay Naval Base in Cuba, an Evidence Technician for the FBI’s Evidence Response Team, and has been deployed overseas to represent the FBI.  He is currently assigned to the Los Angeles Division’s Office of Public and Congressional Affairs,  and is involved in several FBI programs that partner with public and private entities to safeguard the United States’ interests domestically and abroad.  Outside or work, SA Simon enjoys spending time with his family, and participating in his favorite hobbies, playing the guitar and practicing Martial Arts.

Lunch will be provided.
