This presentation will cover how the ASSP Organization structure ensures communication between you and the ASSP.  How the Chapter and Region organization serves you, the individual Member.

The American Society of Safety Professionals is an International organization representing safety professionals and is more than just your chapter.  The ASSP was established in 1911 and now has over 39,000 members.

Speaker Thomas Logan, CSP, ARM

Tom has over 30 years of experience as a safety professional.  He primarily worked as a workers compensation safety specialist and held positions ranging from field consultant, Manager and Director of Loss Control.  He provided safety consultation to a wide range of industries including Aerospace, Manufacturing, Electronics, Retail, Hospitality, Healthcare and Construction and Specialty Trade Companies.

A Professional member joined the Valley Coastal Chapter of the America Society of Safety Professionals, ASSP, in 1981.  His ASSP career, started at the chapter level where he held various Chair positions and twice as the president of the Valley Coastal Chapter.  He moved to Las Vegas and earned recognition as Region 2 Safety Professional of the Year in 2002.  At the Region Level he was Deputy Regional President, DRVP and was elected as the first Area Director for Region 1 Area 3 in 2018.
